Welcome to my website! My name is Maya Gandhi and I am a IATSE Local 484 a Makeup Artist and Hairstylist in Austin, Texas.

Watching Jurassic Park for the first time when I was five years old ignited a passion in me for makeup and film. You might say it changed my world! I dabbled in makeup and hair all through my youth but it wasn't until college that I realized I wanted to make my living doing makeup. While working in Dermatology as a Medical Assistant, I began looking for schools where I could study SPFX Makeup.

When I moved to Austin, I continued working in the medical field, but I knew when it was time to take a chance and try to get into film. I took some time off - and practiced and studied - and that's when I began an internship at Hawgfly Productions. I worked there for over a year, learning a lot about the world of film and SPFX Makeup. 

After my internship ended, I started my own business, doing beauty makeup for weddings, commercials, short films, music videos, events, etc. I’ve worked hard to build up a name for myself and I can honestly say I am living the dream. I love being on set, working and meeting new people, I truly love what I do!

My goal is to always make my clients happy by making them look great, and I am known for going above and beyond in any way for my clients. I take pride in every project I do, from Beauty Makeup to SPFX Makeup.
